The rally - which represented a landmark next step in EVESO’s development - drew Montana’s busy summer season to a close in style. Throughout the Absaroka Run, EVESO visited three states - Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho. The group conquered stunning mountain roads, and visited some of the best natural locations the region has to offer. In total, the rally covered more than 550 miles and reached elevations over 8,500 feet, combining natural beauty with automotive power and community-driven atmosphere.
The Absaroka Run was the first of its kind to be organised by EVESO, created to encompass a shared passion for automotive and outdoor adventure culture, for which Bozeman itself is so well known.
“We wanted to put on a car rally annually in late summer to early fall that represents what we do best, which is a combination of motorsport, automotive, car rally experiences, rolled into one,” said Alex Waters.
“The Absaroka Run came about purely because we live close to the Absaroka range and there are some of the best roads in North America. A lot of car rallies come across the country to experience the Absarokas. So, being in our backyard, we took advantage of that.”

The Absaroka Run route began at home in Bozeman, Montana, from which the group headed to Livingstone, into the gorgeous Paradise Valley, through Yellowstone National Park, and to Cody, Wyoming, where the first day concluded.
Day two began with a Cody Firearms Experience, before heading west through the Wapiti Valley, with a stop at Yellowstone Lake. The day finished at Island Park, Idaho, with private chef dining and a bourbon tasting courtesy of WildRye Distillery.
The final day of the Absaroka Run saw guests return to Montana via West Yellowstone, Quake Lake, and through Madison Valley, before a stop at Bozeman hot springs, where Detail Doctor completed complimentary car detailing on every vehicle on the rally, and a closing dinner in Bozeman.
“It was absolutely stunning. There are very few roads, I would say, in North America that offer the same level of beauty and diversity and different views as what we experienced in those three days,” Alex said.
“It was really nice to show people the natural beauty of Montana and get them out and show them kind of the variety that we have here, from the national parks and the wildlife that exists there, to the beautiful mountain ranges to the lakes, all in the space of three days.”

The rally brought together stunning modern supercars and high-performance vehicles, including a Ferrari F430, Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, and Alpina B6, all of which were set free across breathtaking roads including the Chief Joseph Scenic Byway, Dead Indian Pass, and Sylvian Pass.
But who was behind the wheel, in the eyes of Alex, was most important to the Absaroka Run, representing part of the foundations of EVESO.
“For me, it’s just getting a group of people together and having an amazing experience with whatever car. Frankly, this was a sports car rally, so the cars were all sports cars of some sort. I was driving an RS6 that was fairly heavily tuned, and it was a lot of fun… We had some really cool vehicles, and all of them in their own right had something unique and pretty special to add to the rally,” Alex said.
The Absaroka Run aims to be the first edition of an annual late summer rally, and the first of many community-based lifestyle events. EVESO Bozeman, with real-estate-backed automotive storage and a private members’ club, is purpose-designed for automobile collectors, mountain homeowners, and discerning adventurers, representing the intersection of two different spheres, underpinned by warm community and shared interests. That makes community experiences such as the Absaroka Run central to its future, which Alex explained.
“Beyond delivering the facility of EVESO - the car storage, maintenance, management, and all the services that bring value to the local area - for me, offering life experiences and experiential events is key,” he said.

“It's something that I'm passionate about. It's something that I believe we're going to want more of as we get more and more into this technology-led world and the world becomes slightly less social. People look and appreciate these experiences more.
“EVESO is lining itself up to really provide experiences that people can come back to, enjoy, and bring their friends to. We also want to bring variety, expanding not just in the car space, but in the motorsport space. That might be snowmobiling, it might be dirt biking, it might be off-road rallies, it might be the road rally we've just done. We're really excited to be able to build it.”
EVESO would like to thank WildRye Distillery, Vienne Cafe, Rowan Coffee Roaster, Stumptown Detailing, Detail Doctor, Blackridge Branding, Wrap WRX, Yellowstone Chocolate Co, LMNT, Montana Wake Co, Going to the Sun Rally, and Primal MT for supporting the Absaroka Run.
