Alex’s four-wheeled career began in 2004, first racing in the BRDC Single Seater Championship, which was widely regarded as the United Kingdom’s primary grassroots single-seater category. The series took teenage Alex to multiple iconic British circuits, including Silverstone, home of the British Grand Prix, and Brands Hatch, where he also competed in the legendary Formula Ford Festival, to learn the trade.
He soon rose through the ranks and graduated to British Formula 3, the series in which numerous Formula 1 World Champions have previously competed, from Jackie Stewart to Ayrton Senna and Lando Norris. There, Alex was pitched against some of the best young drivers in the world, including future stars such as future Grand Prix winner Sergio Perez. He sometimes found himself running at the front of the field; during the 2007 season, he led a race at Oulton Park in brilliant fashion, was quickest in a test at Pembrey, and went quickest again in a European F3 test at Valencia in the wet.Â
His talent was subsequently recognised by the Red Bull Junior Team, the organisation that picked up future World Champions Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen at a young age, and he was invited to a test at Circuito Estoril in a Formula Renault car – a car and track he had never driven before. But Alex outpaced many of his far more experienced rivals, and, as a result of his strong performance, the young Briton was involved with the Austrian team between 2008 and 2009.
But throughout the early stages of his career, Alex had fought more than just similarly tenacious young drivers who had their sights set on the pinnacle of motorsport and would give anything to get there.Â
At only 17 years old, while he was competing in the BRDC Single Seater Championship, Alex was diagnosed with a malignant melanoma – a form of skin cancer. While still racing across the UK and studying for his A-level school exams, he underwent unpleasant and invasive cancer treatment, spurred on by his dream to become a racing driver and by the support of CLIC Sargent, the charity that has since been renamed Young Lives Vs Cancer. His cancer went into remission, and, having overcome deep adversity, he set his sights on using his motorsport career and contacts to raise money for the charity through a variety of sponsorship activities. His British F3 car was emblazoned in CLIC Sargent pink, and his commitment culminated in approximately £500,000 in donations.

Alex has since built a fine career – which now spans 24 years – as a racing driver, development driver, driver coach, and racing instructor. He has travelled the world, gaining valuable experience working for internationally successful race teams, corporate clients, gentlemen racers, junior drivers, top-tier professionals, celebrities, and global brands in road cars, sports cars, karts, and single-seaters. It would be easier to name the automotive brands that he hasn’t worked for than those that he has: Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Dallara, Ferrari, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG, Pagani, Porsche, Rolls-Royce, Subaru… the list could go on, and on, and on.Â
He lives in the United States of America, too – more specifically, where the great outdoors and thriving automotive culture intersect, in Bozeman, Montana. Situated in the heart of the Gallatin Valley, the area inspired his next move: in 2026, Alex launched EVESO Bozeman, a first-of-its-kind development in the American West that unites world-class automotive care, private ownership, and an elevated lifestyle community. Alex first gained experience in the space as a young man by running a maintenance workshop in the dealership environment, experience with which, alongside another two and a half decades of work in automotive and motorsport, he aims to create a place where people and their vehicles are cared for at the highest possible level.Â
Alex complements his role as Founder and CEO of EVESO Bozeman with the position of Head of Driving Experience for the Singer Drivers Club at Willow Springs Raceway, frequently jetsetting across the country to build the driver programme and member base for the exclusive California club.Â
